Indianapolis 500: live scoring, TV, live streaming, schedule for weekend
INDIANAPOLIS -- Friday is the last day of Indianapolis 500
practice before Saturday's qualifying for the 102nd race set for May 27.
For the first time since practice began drivers will get a high turbo
boost setting as prep for qualifying, adding another variable as drivers
adjust to the new cars at the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Qualifying is being televised on ESPN and ABC (see schedule below) and live streaming is available on indycar.com. You can get live scoring and updates at IndyCar's Race Control.
Here is the schedule for the rest of the weekend at Indy.
102nd Indianapolis 500 schedule (all times Eastern):
Friday, May 18 - Fast Friday
11 a.m.-6 p.m.: Indy 500 Practice

Saturday, May 19 - Qualifying and Bump Day
8-8:30 a.m.: Indy 500 Group 1 Practice
8:30-9 a.m.: Indy 500 Group 2 Practice
9-9:30 a.m.: Indy 500 Open Practice

11 a.m.-5:50 p.m.: Indy 500 qualifying
Qualifications Day 1 (first four hours) - 11 a.m. (ESPN)
Qualifications Day 1 - (last two hours) - 4 p.m. (ABC)
Outlook: There are 35 entries, meaning the two slowest drivers will be eliminated from the traditional 33-car field at the end of the day. Drivers 10-33 will be set into the field. Drivers 1-9 will get a chance for the pole on Sunday.
Sunday, May 20 - Pole Day
12-2:45 p.m.: Indy 500 practice (Positions 10-33)
1:15-2 p.m.: Indy 500 practice (Fast 9)

2:45-4:45 p.m.: Indy 500 qualifying (Positions 10-33)
5-5:45 p.m.: Indy 500 qualifying (Fast 9)
Qualifications Day 2 (First 75 minutes) - 2:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Qualifications Day 2 - 4 p.m. (ABC)
Outlook: Drivers 10-33 will look to improve their position, albeit no higher than No. 10, during afternoon qualifying. The final 45 minutes are reserved for the 'Fast 9' who will try to improve their speed a land on the pole for the May 27 race.
